General Description

Oxazepam is a sedative with anti-anxiety and muscle relaxing properties. It is prescribe to stimulate appetite and treat anxiety.

How It Works

Oxazepam is thought to work by promoting gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA inhibits the effects of excitatory neutrotransmitters in the brain, resulting in a calming effect on your pet.

Missed Dose?

If you miss a dose, give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give your pet two doses at once.

If stopping use of this drug, consult your veterinarian for an effective gradual reduction in dosage.
